Chassis 4 Winter Rebuild 2005

Following the initial outing in 2004, there were a number of items that needed addressing on Chassis #4. Over the winter of 2005/2006, the intention is to strip the car down to the chassis and build a reliable and competitive car.


Chassis #4



Steering rack
Rack ratio stamped at the top. "FF 4 05" stamped on the bottom.

Chassis # stamped into rear gearbox mount "77 04 RR"
Crush box and pedal assembly
Front suspension and pushrods
rear uprights

Chassis #3 and #4 together. Chassis #3 has an partially completed rear bulkhead
Only significant difference is the front suspension. Chassis #3 is outboard versus #4 which is a push rod design
